Britney Spears’ Case Against Her Father Denied By Judge

Britney Spears’ case to terminate her father’s authority over her money was denied by a judge.

“The conservator’s request to suspend James P. Spears immediately upon the appointment of Bessemer Trust Company of California as sole conservator of estate is denied without prejudice,”
said the judge.

However, this decision is not based on the singer’s last hearing. According to the judge, the iconic pop star has to file a petition against her father, Jamie Spears.

This is not the first time a judge refuses the singer’s request. Samuel Ingham III fought for her freedom back in November 2020. However, his request was shot down. It’s disturbing to hear of such things when you think of the abuse. The judge at the time also appointed the financial company Bessemer Trust a co-conservator.

Judge Brenda Penny shot down Spears’ request to remove her father from her conservatorship on June 30. It means the singer’s powerful testimony didn’t affect the decision. On the other hand, the public was shocked to find out the disturbing truth and take the singer’s side.

Britney Spears made some strong statements about her dad, saying he is controlling and enjoys seeing her suffer. Not to say, the iconic pop star wants to sue her family and put conservators behind bars.

But the drama continues as there is another dispute between Jodi Montgomery, the conservator of Ms Spears’ person and her father.

“Mr. Spears is concerned about the management and care of his daughter. Based on her statements to the court, Mr. Spears is concerned that the petition to appoint Jodi Montgomery filed by Ms. Spears’ court-appointed counsel Samuel D. Ingham III does not reflect her wishes. Ms. Spears told the court on June 23 that she is opposed to being under a conservatorship and revealed her ongoing disputes with Ms. Montgomery about her medical treatment and other personal care issues,”
state the attorney files.

The whole situation is bizarre. Britney Spears made her wishes loud and clear. She wants to end her father’s authority in her life and the conservatorship—all that without further evaluation.
