Google has finally confirmed the launch event for the new Google Pixel 6 series, and we couldn’t be more excited! After months of speculations and leaks, the Pixel 6 smartphones will be launching this month.
The tech giant will hold a special event called The Pixel Fall Launch, where both the Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro will meet the public.

Display details
Google Pixel 6 will sport a sleek 6.4-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel with a 90Hz refresh rate. The Pixel 6 Pro will flaunt a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED curved panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Hardware and software specs
Under the hood, both smartphones will draw their power from an in-house SoC dubbed Tensor. The processor is paired with up to 12GB RAM + 512GB of storage.
The smartphones will also ship with Android 12OS pre-installed.
Battery capacity
A battery of 5,000mAh with 33W charging is said to keep the lights on for several hours on both phones. How cool is that?
Camera capabilities
Coming to camera skills, both Pixel 6 smartphones will come with a newly designed camera system. For instance, Google Pixel 6 will house a dual rear camera module, while the Pro model will flaunt a triple rear camera setup.
Both devices will feature a 50MP Samsung GN1 primary camera and a 12MP Sony IMX286 ultrawide shooter. The Pixel 6 Pro will also pack an extra 48MP Sony IMX586 with a sleek camera sensor with 4x zoom support. That’s just fantastic, right?
Upfront, the smartphones will pack a 12MP selfie shooter.
Google Pixel 6 Series Official Launch Date and Prices
Google has confirmed the official launch date for the new Google Pixel 6 lineup for October 19, at 10 AM PT (10:30 PM IST).
The Pixel 6 Pro will be launched with a price tag of around $1,030, while the standard model, at $750. The color variants are said to include Silver, Gold, and Carbon options for the Pixel 6 Pro, and Fog, Carbon, and light Orange colors for the standard version.
