The Emmy 2021 ceremony is approaching, and we’re ready to break down every detail we have come across so far!
The 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards will be tough, but we hope our favorites to win. From the comedy-drama, The Flight Attendant, all-time favorite Saturday Night Live to the amazing drama series, Bridgerton, this year seems to cover everything up quite some well.
Here is what you need to know.
The Emmy Awards 2021: Date and Location
This year, the Emmy Awards ceremony will be held on September 19 from 5 PM (local time) in LA and September 20 from 1 AM in the UK.
The 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards, also known as the Pand-Emmys, will take place at the Staples Center. Winners will accept their statuettes via video link. Also, the show was moved to the Event Deck at LA Live, directly behind the theatre.
“Following discussions with health and safety experts for Los Angeles County, the Television Academy has concluded that we must further limit the number of nominees attenting the [ceremony],” stated the Academy.
The Emmy Awards 2021: Host
Cedric the Entertainer will host this year’s ceremony, while presenters on the night will include Sarah Paulson, Billy Porter, Kerry Washington, Beanie Feldstein, Jennifer Coolidge, Tracee Ellis Ross, Amy Poehler, Catherine O’Hara (major winner last year!), Daniel Levy, Eugene Levy, and Annie Murphy.
