Boiled eggs will help you lose weight if you know how and when to eat them. It can be the solution to your temporary weight loss goal. This diet does not mean you’ll only eat eggs – you get vegetables and many other sources of protein for you.

About the egg diet

For this diet, you will need to drink only water or zero-calorie beverages. Also, there are no snacks, so only breakfast, lunch and dinner.  The eggs will be boiled, and you need to eat at least 2-3 per day. The diet comes with a 2-week eating plan.

If you know you have health problems or allergies that wouldn’t allow you to try this diet, please talk to your doctor first or try another weight loss method that would suit your body better. Keep in mind you also have to love eggs, otherwise it will be very difficult to eat them daily.

  • Monday

For breakfast: 2 boiled eggs and 1 fruit – citrus, preferably

Lunch: 2 slices of bread (wholemeal) and fruits

For dinner: 1 big salad with chicken.

  • Tuesday

Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs and one fruit – citrus, preferably

For lunch: a salad with chicken and green vegetables

Dinner: a salad of vegetables, 2 boiled eggs and 1 orange

  • Wednesday

Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs and 1 fruit – citrus, preferably

Lunch: cheese (low fat), 1 slice of bread (wholemeal) and 1 tomato

Dinner: a salad of vegetables, 2 boiled eggs and 1 orange

  • Thursday

Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs and 1 fruit – citrus, preferably

Lunch: fruits

Dinner: steamed chicken and salad

  • Friday

Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs and 1 fruit – citrus, preferably

Lunch: grilled fish and salad

Dinner: 2 boiled eggs and steamed vegetables

  • Saturday

Breakfast: 2 boiled eggs and 1 fruit – citrus, preferably

Lunch: fruits

Dinner: steamed chicken and salad

This diet has a set deadline for two weeks since it takes 2 weeks to form long-term habits. It’s simple, quick, and anyone can do it. You just need to stay motivated, and it will work out for you. This diet is very popular and will definitely help you lose weight in two weeks.

However, after these two weeks, you should start adding foods to your diet, and it is advisable not to continue with it. Stick up with proteins, vegetables and healthy fats.
